Catalogue Central Celebrates being Carbon Neutral!

We hope to do more for the environment that just de-clutter your letterbox. Carbon Planet recently conducted a comprehensive audit of the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions accountable to Catalogue Central during the 2006/07 financial year.

The goal of Carbon Planet’s audit was to expose the GHG emissions created by Catalogue Central and identify areas where emissions attributed to the company could be reduced, removed or offset with carbon credits.

After purchasing certified carbon credits to offset Catalogue Central’s entire business footprint, Catalogue Central has proudly become a completely carbon neutral business.

As we all know becoming CO2 free and a carbon neutral company is an ongoing process.

We are committed to continually assessing GHG emissions attributable to Catalogue Central and ensuring we reduce, remove or offset any carbon emissions.

As Catalogue Central is fully carbon free you will now see on all communications the official Carbon Planet - CO2 Free logo.

Carbon Planet’s CO2 free audit process and calculation methods are in accordance with the standards outlined by the Greenhouse Gas Protocol in the Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard (2004) and ISO 14064-1 specifications for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals.
